For the evaluation of the forming process, PAM-STAMP can provide results within minutes using accurate and fast algorithm. High-quality feasibility studies with PAM-STAMP solver, the model in precision and accuracy, are now possibel. A new solver option (SSU) starting from V2012.1 allows analysis speed-up in the same manner as conventional numerical tuning, but without loss in quality. Specifically, a 3-4x analysis speed-up in the drawing phase, with no associated loss of quality, allows for these high quality feasibility studies to be completed within the same time constraints as conventional feasility studies.
PAM-STAMP allows users to make decisions online, bringing together the design engineer, the material provider, the die designer and the try-out press shop from an early stage of the design right through to production. This web-enabled technology allows images, annotation, text and 3D, models to be shared, thus supporting a truly collaborative engineering environment.
