The Foundry MODO 801 (64bit) with Assets & Samples | 2.6 GB
The Foundry today announced the launch of MODO 801, the newest version of its 3D software. Some added features include Nodal Shading, a re-written Referencing workflow and more tools for snapping, animation, particles, hair, fur, painting, UV unwrapping and texture baking.
MODO 801 offers innovative new and refined workflows for design ideation, game content creation, character animation, and producing high-quality advertising images. Created with artistic workflows in mind, MODO 801 puts the fun back into digital content creation and design. With the freedom to explore, artists and designers can focus on creative efforts that maximize quality output in less time.
Modo 801 highlights:
- Node based texturing with built-in presets
- New referencing system for efficient collaborative workflows and asset reuse, allows overriding referenced scene items and managing complex scene creation with segmented portions that can be executed simultaneously
- Enhanced dynamics for large scene handling and destruction
- Improved scattering tools for scene layout and environment creation
- New baking and modeling tools specific for games artists
- Animation improvements including Time Markers, Onion Skinning, Spacing Charts, and In-between tools
- New Wrap, Lattice and Bezier Deformers that extend Modo's Order of Operations (OoO) deformation tools
