CFD++ is based on a multi-dimensional TVD polynomial reconstruction with up to fourth order accuracy in time in explicit mode and second order accuracy in time in implicit mode. CFD++ is based on finite-volume framework with fast convergence to steady state and fast computation of unsteady flows, with enhanced speed using dual time stepping. CFD++ can run very small scale to very large-scale problems very effectively, using the appropriate hierarchy of computer hardware platforms and interconnects (from laptops to massively parallel computers)
