Sound Dust has announced the release of Hammr+, a virtual tonewheel organ instrument library for Native Instruments, developed in collaboration with Oasis/Sheryl Crow keyboard player Mikey Rowe and recorded by Andy Britton.
You'd be right in thinking that he last thing the world needs is another Hammond clone, and I would be the first to agree, but the Hammr+ is a little different. Of course she oozes classic character and has all the capabilities you'd expect of a tonewheel organ, but in true Sound Dust style this thing takes a huge leap of the imagination and moves way past the limitations of the original. By taking advantage of sampling technology and bespoke Kontakt architecture and a little bit of imagination Hammr+ can do things that were inconceivable in the original 1959 instrument.

Virtual acoustic guitar series Ample Guitar use reading directly from the disk 24 -bit samples at a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz . There is a conversion function keyboard fingering in guitar , resonance control body , simulating capo , automatic double- track , adding noise picking. Supports automation and MIDI- control parameters , different techniques of sound (play chords, harmonics , jamming , slides , etc.). Orchestral String Arpeggios is the second product under Dynamic Sound Sampling's "Orchestral String" line. The library consists of 58 violin (1st and 2nd) & viola 16th/8th triplet arpeggio loops. The library uses a pseudo-round-robin technique by having each round-robin change to a different start time in the loop, this way you can go between two arpeggios (or more) without it feeling like the same sample is being played each time. Because of this technique, you can also use the library to re-inforce other fast string lines to get more of a naturally played sound due to the samples starting in the middle of a line.
