ARIA Sounds are proud to present CATALYST, our first high end sample library, with over twenty stunning cinematic percussion instruments. The instrument is also compatible with both version 4 and 5 of Kontakt, unlike out other instruments, and comes with a staggering FOUR mic positions to mix between. These include close, overheads, mid, and far mic positions, for ultimate control over the sound. Instruments are sampled with up to five round robins per note, with multiple velocity layers per note, for maximum realism and that extra human sounding quality.

When we decided to sample a marimba, we knew we wanted to find a 5 octave concert model. Theres something very special about the enormous bass notes of a full sized model. The Yamaha 6100 model, which was designed in collaboration with world-renowned marimba legend Keiko Abe, seemed to be the natural choice.

Sound Dust has announced the release of Hammr+, a virtual tonewheel organ instrument library for Native Instruments, developed in collaboration with Oasis/Sheryl Crow keyboard player Mikey Rowe and recorded by Andy Britton.
You'd be right in thinking that he last thing the world needs is another Hammond clone, and I would be the first to agree, but the Hammr+ is a little different. Of course she oozes classic character and has all the capabilities you'd expect of a tonewheel organ, but in true Sound Dust style this thing takes a huge leap of the imagination and moves way past the limitations of the original. By taking advantage of sampling technology and bespoke Kontakt architecture and a little bit of imagination Hammr+ can do things that were inconceivable in the original 1959 instrument.

8DIO Solo Taiko Drums is the most comprehensive set of deep-sampled Taikos on the market - containing over 4.200 samples and 3.9GB. The library contains several larger Taikos (O-Daiko) down to a wide variety of smaller Taikos (Shimes) and everything in between. Solo Taiko Drum contains 60 different recordings of Taiko Drums and was recorded in two microphone perspectives (close and far). The two microphone positions allows you to sculpt a larger sound and potentially render Taiko in a surround environment too. The Solo Taikos also contains a variety of alternative articulations like different stick types, taikos played with hands, rimshots and clacks. In addition we also added a bonus sample set of Cannon Barrel sounds. It is common for Taiko ensemble to supplement the Taikos by playing on a metal barrel, which evidently symbolizes the barrel of a cannon.

The Frame Drum defined by the simple characteristic that the width of the drumhead is greater then its depth, but besides from that the Frame Drum comes in thousands of variations. It is known for its distinct sustained sound and its multi-resonant qualities.

8Dio Mandolin Solo KONTAKT SCD DVDR-SONiTUS



8Dio Mandolin is a deep-sampled (1600+ samples) pristine sounding studio Mandolin. We included both normal and morphed Mandolin patches to cover all dimensions of the instrument, including hundreds of natural fret and release noises. The morphed patches blend the Mandolin with a wide selection of other instruments (including high-pitched Double Basses, Bulbul Tarang, Steel String Guitars, Plucked and Regular Grand Piano, a large variety of custom Tonal Percussions, etc). The diversity of the morphed patches expands the sonic palette of the Mandolin allowing it to fit perfectly in different styles of music.
