Welcome to our new Claire Virtuoso Woodwind series produced by Emmy Nominated Composer, Colin O'Malley. The Claire Woodwind Series is a deep-sampled collection of the finest virtuoso woodwind soloists ever sampled. These are highly playable instruments soared with true emotion, effortless and equilibristic behavior. Our Oboe Virtuoso is the most expressive, playable and lifelike oboe ever sampled. The Oboe Virtuoso was recorded in a symphonic hall and contains three microphone positions (Close, Decca, Wide). The core of the Oboe is its highly advanced legato system, which contains both lyrical and strong legato. The legato system allows you to play legato with passionate arcs and sustains. We recorded arcs with both light, medium and strong vibrato, so you can freely sculpt your performance from the subtle to vibrant. In addition we also added trills, runs, staccattissimo, marcato and even non-tonal effects like breaths, valve sounds and natural click noises etc.

8Dio Post-Apocalyptic Guitar KONTAKT



Post-Apocalyptic Guitar is a sample library dedicated to the rhythmic timbre and textures of post-rock bands like Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, Cul De Sac and others. The library contains two core type of phrase-based patches divided into a Yin and Yang category. The Yin category is softer, lighter, more airy and heavenly - whereas the Yang category is harder, darker, more distorted and punchy. All the patches are tempo-synced and can be blended in an infinite amount of ways.

Welcome to the 8DIO Natural Acoustic Series - a studio collection of high-end deep-sampled acoustic instruments. Mandolin Strummer is the follow-up to our Mandolin Solo library. The Mandolin Strummer contains over 11.500 samples spread across 13 different chord types and 18 common rhythm types. All the chords and rhythms can seamlessly be blended using our x-legato technology. The X-legato system allows you to combine any chord and rhythm at any given time giving you an infinite amount of combinations. In addition the Mandolin Strummer is a round-robin based strum library, so even if you trigger the same chord/rhythm multiple times - you will get natural subtle variation. The Mandolin Strummer also contains a unique patch with motion picture inspired strums.

8Dio The New Alien Drum KONTAKT SCD DVDR-SONiTUS



The New Alien Drum (aka Hand Pan is a unique tone based percussion instrument, which is almost impossible to come by, since there is only one maker in the world and less than 1000 drums in circulation. The instrument has a soft, sorrowful, melancholic tone to it and is a perfect companion for emotional or ambient type of scores. The 8dio Alien Drum is unique in the sense it was recorded at an average of 15 velocity layers and with 10 round-robin repetitions pr. layer/note, so you will never experience any repetition in the articulation.

8DIO Solo Frame Drum represents one of the most widespread and versatile families of drums with a history crossing through ancient Middle East, India, Rome and through a variety of Islamic cultures. The Frame Drum defined by the simple characteristic that the width of the drumhead is greater then its depth, but besides from that the Frame Drum comes in thousands of variations. It is known for its distinct sustained sound and its multi-resonant qualities.

STUDIO SOLO VIOLIN is a massive collection of over 4.000 phrases performed by renowned concert violinist: Thomas Yee. The intention of the library was to sample completely realistic solo violin by creating an incredible collection of musical phrases. We programmed the library in a way that gives you maximum control over the phrases and literally allows you to sculpt 100% realistic solo violin performances. It was deliberately designed to support, augment and in some cases replace existing solo violin libraries. Essentially this library takes over where normal multi-samples (ex. legato, sustains) cant perform. This is what we call deep phrase-sampling.
